About Me
Rachel is a Chartered Physiotherapist specialising in Veterinary Physiotherapy. She achieved her BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Sheffield Hallam University in 2012.
She has extensive experience across various areas of human physiotherapy, particularly in supporting recovery from traumatic injuries - whether a hand injury, burn, or orthopaedic condition.
Having fulfilled her goals in human physiotherapy, Rachel decided to expand her expertise and pursue her lifelong dream of working with animals.
In 2025, she completed a PgDip in Veterinary Physiotherapy at Hartpury University and is continuing her studies to achieve the full master’s qualification in 2026.
In her free time, Rachel enjoys hiking and training in gundog and agility with her beloved German Shorthaired Pointer, Heidi. To stay fit, she can often be found running or cycling in the Peak District.
She has always had a passion for animals and has worked with them throughout her life - working on livery yards, walking dogs for a canine shelter, and volunteering with an equine charity as well as owning her own dog and previously loaning an ROR thoroughbred.
